I appreciate the ‘heads up’ as I am very aggressive in virus prevention. I have checked the blog on two different PCs with two different updated virus protection applications. I have also rechecked the PC that I manage this blog from with a thorough scan by two different virus and AdWare protection packages. My PC and website have come up clean in all checks.

I suspect you are getting a ‘false positive’ this can be caused by:
1) An overly aggressive virus protection algorithm
2) A very aggressive firewall setting
3) An informational alert that indicates there MAY be a virus associated with the page because it is not registered with your anti-virus provider
4) An AdWare Trojan that has infected your PC

I would suggest you go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download their FREE AdWare protection application, it is an excellent ancillary protection application that will pick up AdWare infections that are missed by excellent virus protection applications. If you are getting false positives due to an AdWare Trojan this application will resolve the issue (there are a couple Trojans that display this symptom).

Again, thanks for your warning, I would rather deal with a false positive, than miss a virus.
